WHERE ON EARTH?
WHY GO:

Between Santa Monica and Culver City you can follow the Expo Bike Path almost all the way. Easy, good marked and a little slow - due to all the traffic lights. In Culver City you can visit the funny little museum of Jurassic Technology, you can walk the Culver City Stairs or you can continue cycling along the LA River back to the ocean!

DESCRIPTION:

The metro station Downtown Santa Monica is a great place to start this tour. Here you find shared bikes and bikelanes that takes you along Route 66 the first 1,5 km.

Then you enter the Expo Bike Path. It is separated from other traffic and the route is good marked. For a long time it follows close to the Metro line.

The only short hilly part is through Northvale Road where you bike through a residential area. Then you´re back on track and soon you enter Culver City.

Have a great trip!
