Both Santa Monica and Hollywood are two of LA´s most famous landmarks. Starting at the foot of Hollywood you follow smaller and larger roads, slightly downhill, on Route 66, through Beverly Hills on your way to the beach.

DESCRIPTION:​

This tour starts in Hollywood, and after you've seen the stars at Walk of Fame it can be nice to jump on a bike. The first part passes through residential ares on smaller side roads. From West Hollywood the bike lanes runs along Santa Monica Boulevard. It's always a lot of traffic here, so you need to be comfortable with cars passing close to you.

At Beverly Hills it's a nice variation to follow the park as you get out of the traffic for a period.

Along the tour you will see green bike signs and also the historic Route 66 signs. In the last 5 kilometers, the route is back on smaller residential roads again. And at last - the Pacific Ocean appears and you can enjoy the beach, the fair at the pier or just strolling around downtown Santa Monica.
