MIAMI - SHARK VALLEY, EVERGLADES

WHY GO:

If you want to see alligators in their natural habitat - make sure to not miss this tour! It´s an easy ride, and you get really close to the wild life in the Everglades.

DESCRIPTION:

The best way to get to Shark Valley is with car, as it is located about an hour outside of Miami. This is the famous Everglades with it´s swamps where the alligators has their home. If you bring your own bike or rent at the location you follow the roundtrip as adviced.

The "gators" are in the water, hidden in the vegetation or even resting or walking along the road. You´ll never know! You will surely make many stops along the way with your camera, so although the roundtrip isn´t very long make sure you have enough time.

There´s an observation tower half way which is open and gives a wide view of the whole area.

BE AWARE OF:

The alligators are wild animals so make sure to follow the rules in the park! Also, bring enough water to drink.
