WHY GO:

This is one of the best cycle tours in Miami with great bikelanes. Several beaches, a lighthouse, a tropical bar and some of Miami´s most spectacular houses are waiting you. A must-do for everyone who loves cycling.  

 

DESCRIPTION:

This tour starts from the bridge to Rickebacker Causeway and passes several islands and bridges on its way. On the way out you pass the Hobie Island beach, Crandon golfcourse and all the fancy houses at Harbour Drive. 

 

Once you arrive Bill Baggs State Park it´s so nice and calm atmosphere where you cycle on small bikepaths where you can enjoy the ocean view, have a drink at the Cleat Mia Bar, relax on the beach or visit the Cape Florida Lighthouse. 

 

On the way back stop at the Crandon Park which one of the best beaches in Miami. At the Virginia Key there´s also possible to rent a kayak and try to spot the manatees.

 

The Whiskey Joe´s Barn & Grill is great for a meal and watching the sunset.

BE AWARE OF:

Traffic can be heavy on Rickebacker Causeway so . Be aware of pedestrians on the paths.
