WHY GO:

This is a nice trip that takes you all around Miami Beach Island, from the Boardwalk, through calm residential areas and along the Miami Marina.   

 

DESCRIPTION:

This tour begins at Miami Beach going north, but you can start anywhere you want. The first stretch is along the beautiful Miami Boardwalk with all the colorful Guard Houses at the beach. At Allison Park the route turns west crossing some roads and a bridge before turning south again. Make sure to follow the North Bay Road with low traffic, beautiful houses and get some glimps of the city view.

Around the Venetian Bridge is busy with cars and crossings, so be causaus. It´s also several restaurants here if you want a snack. Lincoln Terrace will lead you to the Biscayne Bike Path along the dock, a short but very nice stretch.

The West Avenue also have several restaurants. Maneuver through the crossing by the Mac Arthur Causeway and head for the Miami Beach Marina Walk and from there it´s safe cycling along the harbour all the way to South Point.

Pedestrians on the Boardwalk. Shorter stretches in the traffic.
